It's considered pretty much B - B+ tier, which means it can definitely work and you will probably have fun with it and crush noobs. It used to be a fantastic 1v1 and small group build but has been fairly gutted. If you're looking for a more caster-y build that can do some damage, check out Daggerspell (Withcraft / Sorcery / Shadowplay). (the other two are Executioner and Blade Dancer in case anyone was curious (hopefully swiftblade shifts that meta a bit)).Īll three of those ^ classes are tippy-top tier. You're probably heard Darkrunner is the best melee? Well it's really split between four classes, and this is one of them, and IMO, the most fun. Tons of cc / mobility / damage and a gently caress ton of combos. Shadowblade (Witchcraft / Battlerage / Shadowplay) is an extremely good melee class. And by arguably I mean the people arguing against it are just really upset that the Defense tree was gutted and people just meander past Abolishers like they don't exist (cause they doooooon't).

It's arguably the best (pvp) tank in the game. Can do gently caress all for damage, but it really does lock down huge groups of people at a time for other people to dunk. Nightcloak (Witchcraft / Auramancy / Occultism) is one of the tank classes nicknamed "Raid breaker." It's an absolute CC nightmare. Witchcraft is not exactly the focus here, as you might have guessed.

Healing in this game is also some of the most fun healing in MMOs. Hierophant (Witchcraft / Vitalism / Auramancy) is an insanely good healer, very easily top tier. I am 30 and thinking of going something more melee focused.

I should expect to die if I pull more than 2 mobs, correct? I just chose 3 classes that became the Equalizer, and I die if I pull more than 1 mob because my cool downs are about 30 seconds for the real heavy damage stuff. So what exactly is a good way to avoid this bug that prevents progression? Just hold on to everything in your inventory? I figure I'll have to level up other trees when I'm 50 to find something I really like but dunno what too plan for. So what's a good endgame goal if I wanna use a lot of Witchcraft? I'm playing Witch Doc right now (Mal/Witch/Occ) and there isn't a ton of synergy, though I know your later skills can change things a lot. It's pretty much exclusively for making consumables and having an easy teleport.ĭegs fucked around with this message at 21:26 on Oct 17, 2019 PS: You can play this game without a house or farm and barely tell the difference. Rest your tired little head upon my bosom, child, for all is well. If you don't want to grind, you will never notice the difference. In case it wasn't clear, that guide gets you four properties. ITT: Goons triggered by a try hard post in a competitive farming simulator. Being incredibly punishing to idiots is a feature of the genre, not a bug. Guess you better hope the mobs drop all the gear you need to level 50 or so because otherwise you're done. Or simply outright discarded stuff because you found an "upgrade" dropped by a mob which it turns out isn't compatible with the new gear progression system. If you accidentally use the wrong stone on an armor you've upgraded tho, you're hosed
